Foundations - and mattresses - may be purchased independently of mattress sets. While our prices are always the lowest around you can get even greater savings by choosing a foundation that is an odd color, or, a floral print. The quality of the construction is identical, and, for many people the color of their foundation isn't important - it's typically covered by your bedding, anyway. Also, note that king foundations are virtually always sold as a 2-piece set - called a "split foundation". This is because an inflexible foundation (if it were one, solid piece) in a king size would be too large to get into your home. Quite often, folks buying queen sets need a split box.
